I couldn't agree more with you about gratitude moving mountains in our lives. I have a daybook that I've had for at least 15 years called "Simple Abundance." In it, the author suggests starting a gratitude journal, where every night you write 5 things you are grateful for from that day. I think most people know of this idea by now, but back in those free-spirited days of mine, this really struck me and I've been doing it ever since. I love looking back at old journals from the days Steve & I were dating (I am grateful that I met this great guy, and man can he cook!) or my first pregnancy years later (I am grateful I didn't feel nauseous all day today;-)

So right now, I am grateful that Steve and I can feed our family from our backyard, and have been on top of the preserving so far this year to get us through the winter; I am grateful for my boys and all of their "help" with farm chores; and I am grateful for the new friends...kindred spirits like you that I've met through blogging!!

Blessings on your week!
~MichelleMichellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13120447955764612236noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6017067599350267604.post-16516977599147781762009-09-02T16:47:08.939-04:002009-09-02T16:47:08.939-04:00What a beautiful post.
