pink blossomed arm
reaching out to the light
firmly rooted
but willing to stretch
for new possibilities

  4. Oh Redbuds are my absolute FAVORITE trees! I just love the dark bark, and the heart shaped leaves and little pods they produce! Of course the flowers are beautiful too, and delicious! I haven't seen one in quite awhile. Thank you for this image and your words..it really made me smile. Thanks for popping over today to say hello too :)

  11. what an old wise gnarly red bud. i have a serious thing for redbuds. their otherworldly flowers and then their big heart shaped leaves. i've never seen one quite that cool, though...are you doing haiku with these little poems? i don't know enough about that, but i've been wanting to play with it lately...
