wabi sabi moments...erma's basins

she had no clue
why I would want to take
this picture
and I suppose that
was one of the
reasons why

you can see the complete wabi sabi moment collection here

this week has been a lesson in letting go of many things I normally do and planned to do, such as, visiting the blogs of the special people who visit here and leave comments AND making the transmutable photo cards for Faith Hope Love Infant Rescue...I got strong messages to slow down this week...I finally listened.

have a blessed weekend!

  2. I completely understand the photo-op. They're lovely.

You're so wise to slow down and just "be". That is exactly what I plan to do this weekend. I'm really looking forward to it.

  4. That is a really great photo. Good for you for listening to to messages. It's not something that I am very good at and I often pay for it in many ways.

  7. I too love the pic. I too have a hard time letting go. I think for me it is a Mommy-control thing. Have to keep it all going and flowing. I spin the wheel and can't let it go. Sometimes you just have to slow down though. The consequences can be soft or meltdown. I am suffering through a cold at the moment from not slowing down. I am listening and have stopped this weekend. good on you to listen

  8. As I was driving I thought of you today, and I totally got that...letting go...everything will all be alright. It's something I've been thinking of a lot this week too. Letting go, even of the really hard stuff. It's tough.

  12. That photo is so beautiful Elizabeth. Slowing down, stepping away, we are supposed to give ourselves permission to do that when needed, and it is a blessing to know when that time is. Have a wonderful weekend
