this week has been a lesson in letting go of many things I normally do and planned to do, such as, visiting the blogs of the special people who visit here and leave comments AND making the transmutable photo cards for Faith Hope Love Infant Rescue...I got strong messages to slow down this week...I finally listened.
have a blessed weekend!
Those basins are so beautiful
ReplyDeleteDon't have regrets, you'll get to what need to be done when you can:-) Enjoy the peace!
ReplyDeleteI completely understand the photo-op. They're lovely.
ReplyDeleteYou're so wise to slow down and just "be". That is exactly what I plan to do this weekend. I'm really looking forward to it.
I love them!
ReplyDeletebeautiful! that looks like such a peaceful corner.
ReplyDeleteThat is a really great photo. Good for you for listening to to messages. It's not something that I am very good at and I often pay for it in many ways.
ReplyDeleteI can see why you wanted to take the pictures!
ReplyDeleteGood to slow down...
mmm. it takes me a crazy long time to listen to that message to slow down sometimes. good for you friend. and i'm wondering who erma is, i just love her little corner.
ReplyDeleteI too love the pic. I too have a hard time letting go. I think for me it is a Mommy-control thing. Have to keep it all going and flowing. I spin the wheel and can't let it go. Sometimes you just have to slow down though. The consequences can be soft or meltdown. I am suffering through a cold at the moment from not slowing down. I am listening and have stopped this weekend. good on you to listen
ReplyDeleteAs I was driving I thought of you today, and I totally got that...letting go...everything will all be alright. It's something I've been thinking of a lot this week too. Letting go, even of the really hard stuff. It's tough.
ReplyDelete:)Lisa
so much beauty and history in those basins! thank you for sharing - have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteThose basins are so beautiful---they immediately caught my eye on flickrr the other day. It is so important to listen to those quiet "slow down" whispers.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful basins! Glad you were able to slow down some this week.
ReplyDeleteThat photo is so beautiful Elizabeth. Slowing down, stepping away, we are supposed to give ourselves permission to do that when needed, and it is a blessing to know when that time is. Have a wonderful weekend
